First of all, when you arrive at the PVL you will be amazed at the beauty of the home, area and scenery!
The first time to PVL we recommend arriving before dark. We do keep outdoor lights on, however there is very little ambient light in the area - billions and billions of stars! Bringing a flashlight is recommended too.
Upon arrival you will need to locate the lock-box to extract the key. Using the lock-box is very convenient for groups, since the key is always located at the home while people are exploring the area in numerous directions.
The lower level has the rec room and 2 bedrooms called the bunk rooms. So if you are staying in those rooms use the french doors off of the patio.
The upper level has the living/dining, kitchen and master bedroom. It is recommended to use the straight staircase outside up to the deck to deliver your food and bags for the kitchen and master bedroom since the interior of the home has a spiral staircase which can be awkward with your hands full.
We keep a detailed notebook of information about the home and its operation either on the counter or kitchen table. Refer to that notebook upon arrival.
The water may be turned off when you arrive. The notebook has complete instructions on how to turn the water back on.
If there is anything not up to standard or not operating when you arrive, contact us immediately! We cannot fix it if we do not know about it.
