Is there a fireplace and what about wood?

The PVL has a free-standing wood buring stove in the middle of the living room.  The house comes stocked with firewood, newspaper and fireplace tools.

When the wood burner gets going the entire upper level gets quite toasty, even when it is snowing and blowing outside!

The matches are located above the microwave to keep them out of "little hands."

There are metal ash buckets outside the lower level door for discarding ashes.
