How is the phone coverage?

The PVL has a phone line with 3 cordless phones.  One in the master bedroom, one in the kitchen, and one in the rec room.  The base unit in the kitchen contains a digital answering machine.

Note - The phone line at the PVL does not have long distance capability! A calling card is needed to make long distance calls.

Cell phone coverage is non-existent.  The PVL is tucked into a valley at 10,700 feet in the Rocky Mountains - so there are no towers in the near area.  The towns of Alma, Fairplay and Breckenridge do have cell phone coverage.
